Company Guidelines and Policies
Pet Sitting visits are available 7 days a week beginning at 8:00 a.m. The latest regular visits are scheduled for 9:00 p.m., although additional bedtime visits are available for $10.00 more after 9:00 p.m.
Visit Times: Scheduling is on first come first serve basis and we will do our best to
accommodate your needs. All Critters Sitting Service will visit at the requested times as closely as possible. However, if we are caring for multiple pets, the times may be shifted a little to accommodate our clients. We will do our very best to arrive at the appointed times.
Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, All Critters Sitting Service has requested on the contract the name and phone number of a person living nearby. If All Critters Sitting Service is physically unable to reach your home due to impassable roads, please provide us with this information so that we can contact this person to request assistance. In the event that the customer does not provide a nearby emergency contact with access to your home for All Critters Sitting Service, customer realizes that All Critters Sitting Service will provide service but not until conditions allow us to reach your home safely.
Additional Pet Care Assistance And Other Scheduled Services: We all want our pets to have all the love and attention they deserve, but please be advised that if there are other persons entering and leaving your home, All Critters Sitting Service can not be held liable for any damages or problems that may arise as a result. Please inform us of anyone who may have access to your home while you are away. This includes cleaning services, repair persons, friends, family and neighbors. All Critters Sitting Service does not accept liability for other persons who will be in your home during pet care.
Vaccinations/Immunizations: All Critters Sitting Service requires that all pets have the necessary vaccinations and immunizations before service begins. Please provide a copy of current shot records for our files.
Medications: All Critters Sitting Service will attempt to administer medications as directed but cannot be held responsible for complications that arise as a result. Under no circumstances will All Critters Sitting Service care for any pet that has any form of contagious illness. This is for the safety of our other customers. If an All Critters Sitting Service pet care provider is bitten or exposed to any disease or ailment received from the client’s pet(s) which has not been properly or currently vaccinated, the client will be responsible for all costs and damages that may incur.
Unforeseen Purchases: All Critters Sitting Service will purchase pet food, litter, cleaning supplies or other necessary items that contribute to the health and well being of your pet while you are absent. We will retain a receipt and pet owner is responsible for reimbursement of these items. In addition a $30.00 trip fee will be charged to the pet owner.
Pet Waste: All Critters Sitting Service will properly dispose of all pet waste. We do request that you provide plastic bags for this purpose and indicate where you would like these waste bags disposed.
Leashes: All dogs will be required to be on leash during outdoor walks.
Animal Behavior: Animal behavior can be unpredictable. All Critters Sitting Service does not accept responsibility or liability for animal behavior, normal or otherwise, which results in injury to the client’s animals. Further, if an All Critters Sitting Service provider is harmed or injured by the client’s animals, the client/owner accepts full responsibility for the cost of any necessary medical attention required for the pet care provider.
Fences: Fenced in yards are wonderful playgrounds for our dogs and allow them additional space to exercise and play. However, no fence system is totally secure. All Critters Sitting Service does not accept responsibility or liability for any client’s animals that escape or become lost or injured, fatal, or otherwise, when instructed to leave the client’s animals in a fenced in area. This includes electronic, wood, metal or any other fence. We will not leave any pet unattended in a fenced yard for any reason.
Outside Pets: All Critters Sitting Service, LLC. cannot guarantee the safety and well being of any pet left outside to live. There are many circumstances that could prove dangerous to pets who are kept outdoors and we will accept no responsibility as such.
Other dogs: We will not permit your dogs to interact with strange dogs. If other dogs approach, leashed or not leashed, we will do our best to keep interaction at a minimum and move away from them.
Early Returns/Last Minute Changes: It is not unusual for trip plans to change at the last minute. However, please understand that All Critters Sitting Service carefully schedules our time to service you and our other clients. If you return home early, please notify us immediately. If however, you do not notify All Critters Sitting Service on an early return and All Critters Sitting Service makes a trip, the regular per visit charge applies.
Holidays: Holiday seasons are hectic for everyone. There are additional fees charged on these holidays – New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. A Holiday fee of $10 per trip will be added to our regular fee.
Payment: All Critters Sitting Service accepts cash, check or online credit card payments. Please make all checks payable to All Critters Sitting Service.
a. Payment Choice #1: We extend to you the courtesy of billing for our services. In return, we require PROMPT payment upon receipt of the invoice. (This option only applicable to established clients.)
b. Payment Choice #2: ½ of invoice total is due before the 1 day of service, the remainder to be paid in full upon client’s return. Customer will be quoted the rate of the total payment at the time of consultation and provider will leave a paid invoice for your records as a receipt.
17. Returned Check Charges: There is a $30.00 fee for all returned checks.
18. Late Payments: There is a $10.00 late charge after the 7 day past invoice date. An additional$10.00 charge for every 7 days late thereafter.
Cancellations: In the event of a cancellation, deposits are non-refundable. If All Critters Sitting Service, LLC. is not notified in the allotted time (3 days), your deposit will be held in lieu of possible income lost due to clients turned away because we scheduled you. Cancellation or last minute booking fees are waived for established clients when caused by an illness or death in the family, other unavoidable emergencies or sick pets.
